Setup your personal Password

In order to protect your wallet, it is necessary to set a password.

This will protect you from incorrect actions (in fact, for many more sensitive actions the jWallet will ask you to confirm by asking for your password before proceeding) or tampering with your device.

Set your password

When you first open the jWallet, the first thing you will see is a Welcome screen and a 'Get Started' button.

Clicking on it will take you to the section for setting your password:

Before proceeding, you should know that:

1. Your password must be at least 8 characters long,

2. You must repeat your password twice (necessary to confirm it),

3. If you have any doubts about the password you have entered, you can click on the eye to the right of the text box in order to see it (make sure you are away from prying eyes),

4. You must confirm that you have read and agree with the jWallet Terms of Use.

Once you have completed this, the "CREATE" button will be activated and you can continue.
