What is a custom Network?

Jwallet will communicate with other Blockchains specified in the when a user connects to a custom network, which can include private Ethereum networks, local development networks, public test networks such as Goerli and Sepolia, and other public networks not included in the default network list. With this communication, Jwallet is able to send transactions and read data from the blockchain.

To add a custom network, simply click on Add Network (Polgyon used as an example below) and fill in:

  • Network Name - Polygon

  • New RPC URL -

  • Chain ID - 137

  • Currency Symbol - MATIC

  • Block Explorer URL (Optional) - Source -

RPC URL
